Equipped with the outsole everyone has been waiting for

ALTRA's iconic model "LONE PEAK" has been remodeled as "9+". The biggest update is the renewal of the outsole to Vibram® MegaGrip. It provides excellent grip in all conditions, and the improved lug pattern provides high grip performance that sets it apart from previous models.

The upper design has also been revised to improve the fit around the midfoot and heel, further evolving the natural comfort that is characteristic of LONE PEAK.

The no-sew overlay parts and ripstop mesh provide extra durability, while the double-layered toe guard provides extensive protection for your toes, keeping your feet safe from trouble on the trail.

Staff review

The Megagrip gives the shoes an impression of increased mobility. But the LONE PEAK 9+ is a pair of shoes that gives you a sense of security and makes you think, "It's LONE PEAK after all." The moderate cushioning, ground contact, and natural fit are comfortable and not found in other shoes. For me, these are shoes I would like to use for daily hiking and relaxing trail runs.
