A Vectran cord from EVERNEW for use as a guy line or utility cord. At 0.96mm thick and 5m long, it is a high-strength cord with low elongation (little stretch) and high abrasion resistance. Breaking strength is about 1000N. Use it for tent and tarp guy lines, securing or repairing gear, and general lightweight cordage.
Vectran absorbs almost no water, so it barely stretches or shrinks in rain or condensation and does not get heavier when wet. It is thin and light, so carrying several lengths is no burden. Cut to the length you need for each use.
