A thin softshell jacket that complies with ECWCS GEN3 “Level 5” and is designed for layering.
If the NOSHAQ MiG Jacket is a classic military softshell, the OPERATOR MiG Jacket is a modern softshell designed with layering in mind.
The material is made by Milliken, the parent company of Polartec, which develops special materials for military use. It is very difficult to open an account, and you have to pass a screening process that is even stricter than GORE-TEX®︎.
This fabric is as flexible as a shirt fabric, yet incredibly strong. It also has excellent wind resistance, but is constructed to let a little air through, so you can wear it comfortably even in humid weather.
Since the main fabric is not stretchy, the shoulder blade area from the shoulders to the back is made of a 4-way stretch material called "Flex". The pattern that follows your movements is unique to Tilak.
The military standard ECWCS GEN3 “Level 5” rank corresponds to a “soft shell” with excellent water repellency and breathability.
Four outer pockets. The entrance to the arm pocket has an unfamiliar vertical line. This zipper line is a universal arrangement that follows the movement of the arm when opening the zipper. There are ventilation holes on both sides. Also, the same reinforcement material as the Noshaq MiG is placed from the elbow to the cuff.
Three types of patches are included.
