Continuing from last year's wooden studs cup, this time I made a studs cup by cutting metal. We received cooperation from A-TAKE in Fukui Prefecture, a metal processing manufacturer specializing in heavy cutting. The base material is 7075 material (super super duralumin), which is a high-class material that combines hardness and lightness and is mainly used for aircraft (the old Zero Fighter), mountain bikes, tent poles, etc. It is luxuriously made by carving out a final 398g from a block of about 2kg. The surface is hard anodized instead of normal anodized, making it less likely to be scratched.
Mr. INAVANSE of Ishikawa Prefecture is in charge of laser engraving in the final process.
In addition to pouring beverages directly into the can, it can also be used as a koozie because it has an inner diameter that is just right for a 350 can. However, please note that it is not suitable for hot drinks due to its high thermal conductivity.
At first, I thought about putting it in a high-class box like an iPhone, but I thought it would be better to include a storage case, which is our specialty, if we were going to spend money anyway. A special case made of nylon is included.
The color of the paracord indicates the color of the contents, but the same color paracord is also included, so you can change it as you like.
* The hole on the back side is for attaching a hook necessary for hanging or energizing during anodized aluminum processing.
