MERRELL try-on and Solaiz sunglasses experience

ROCK STEPPERS will be holding a MERRELL try-on event and Solaiz sunglasses experience event for two days on Saturday, February 15th and Sunday, February 16th, 2025!

At this event, you can not only try on MERRELL's latest shoes, but also experience the difference in visibility in the outdoors by wearing Solaiz sunglasses. The store owner himself feels that using these gears makes outdoor activities more comfortable and enjoyable.

From beginners to experienced climbers, This is an event that anyone with an interest in trail running and the outdoors can enjoy. There are times when you can try out the equipment freely, and there are also events where you can thoroughly try out the equipment through workshops and group runs.

Date and time: February 15th (Sat) and 16th (Sun), 2025

  • Hiking Workshop (reservation required): Saturday, February 15th, 9:00-11:30
  • Group trail running (reservations required): Sunday, February 16th, 9:00-11:30
  • Trying on sunglasses and sunglasses experience (optional participation): 12:00-18:00

Try on MERRELL shoes

  • MTL LONG SKY 2 MATRYX

At this trial session, you can try on popular outdoor models as well as the new series that will be released in April.

  • You can walk and run freely (Up to 1 hour)
  • Try on the shoes and sunglasses outdoors to check how they feel
  • We also provide recommended run and walk courses.

2/15 (Sat) 9:00-11:30 Hiking Workshop

  • Contents :
    • The pros and cons of using trail running shoes for hiking
    • The basics of climbing and descending without getting tired
    • Walking experience in barefoot shoes
    • Checking the effectiveness of polarized lenses and how bright lenses make things look
  • Location : ROCK STEPPERS meeting place, nearby park, etc.
  • Eligibility : Reservation required, open to everyone
  • Rental shoes : Trail running shoes & barefoot shoes (You may be asked to change shoes between participants during the tour)

2/16 (Sun) 9:00-11:30 Group Trail Running

  • Contents :
    • Trail running of about 10km (very slow pace)
    • Running while checking out the features of MERRELL shoes
    • Checking the effectiveness of polarized lenses and how bright lenses make things look
    • Along the way, the group will move forward in packs at branching points, etc.

    • Trail running beginners and first-timers are also welcome
    • Those who can run about 10km
