Experience mountain maintenance at Hiraoka Park!
Hiraoka Park, located near ROCK STEPPERS, is a park full of nature with many trailheads and hiking trails, loved by local residents as well as hikers and runners. The owner, Yamane, also regularly uses the park for hiking and trail running.
There are plans to develop a corner of Hiraoka Park and create paths and a plaza in the middle of nature. This event invites you to help with this development on a regular basis. It is a small plaza, but we plan to develop it so that you can lie down or walk along the path that leads to the main road. During the event, we will be mowing the grass and clearing trees.
Satoyama, which is close to human life, is a mountain that has been maintained and used by people since ancient times. Therefore, it is necessary to properly maintain it and coexist with it. Satoyama is no longer used as a resource for firewood and charcoal as it was before the Showa era, but I think that today's Satoyama should be cherished as a place that teaches us the wonder of nature and allows us to enjoy activities such as hiking and running.
Those of you who regularly enjoy outdoor activities are probably aware of the wonders of nature.
