Introduction

A shirt from RIDGE MOUNTAIN GEAR's "Basic" line.

We already have the "Basic Long Sleeve Shirt" which is a standard item on sale, but we have made this shirt using the same merino wool fabric.

The concept of RIDGE MOUNTAIN GEAR is "no distinction between everyday life and the mountains."
It may seem like a cliché, but I'm not very good at organizing things. I often find myself in a mess in my closet. Separating my everyday clothes from my mountain clothes and organizing them is something I'm really bad at...so I want to reduce the burden even a little. If I could just go out to the mountains in my favorite everyday clothes, my closet would be tidy and it would be easier on my wallet. That's the thought that drives me to think about RIDGE MOUNTAIN GEAR products every day.

MATERIAL

We use traceable wool, which is made from carefully selected sheep's wool from the Grampians region of Australia.
By using ozone treatment during the finishing process, we have made it possible to make the fabric machine washable while maintaining the natural softness of wool.

2/60 wool

• Yarn construction : 2-ply yarn. The "2" indicates the 2-ply yarn and the "60" indicates the thickness of the yarn.

• Features : By twisting two strands of fine yarn, a soft, smooth, high-density, and high-strength fabric is achieved.

• Effect : It is less likely to lose its shape and maintains a beautiful silhouette for a long time.

Tropical Wool

• Breathable : The loose weave allows air to flow, helping you regulate your body temperature and staying comfortable in hot weather.

• Lightweight : Lighter than regular wool, it is ideal for long-term wear, travel and outdoor activities.

• Wrinkle-resistant : Wrinkle-resistant, maintaining an elegant appearance.

-Rounded edges <br data-start="1075" data-end="1078">Areas that are susceptible to wear (such as the collar, cuffs, and pocket flap edges) are designed with small rounded shapes.
By rounding off the corners, wear and fraying are prevented, allowing the garment to be worn beautifully for a long time.
*The rounded parts are difficult to sew and are finished by delicate handwork by artisans.

- Shirt collar with small stand collar <br data-start="1222" data-end="1225">The collar is designed to be small and low to prevent flapping in the wind.
Even when the top collar is raised, it fits naturally around the neck, reducing stress.

- Sleeve design that ensures freedom of movement <br data-start="1304" data-end="1307">The pattern design provides room under the arms, so you don't feel stressed when raising and lowering your arms.
Ensures range of motion outdoors.

・Flat-felled seam
Carefully sewn with the seam allowances wrapped inside, it feels soft against the skin and is highly durable .
It takes more time than lock processing, but it is a durable method of tailoring that will last a long time.

- Snap buttons (YKK PLANCER®)
The pants use resin snap buttons, which eliminate the worry of losing the button due to a broken thread, and are easy to put on and take off.

- Hanger loop <br data-start="1559" data-end="1562">A traditional hanger loop is placed under the back collar.
While you may not have many opportunities to use it in your daily life, it's a useful detail when hiking.
