Apples have the ability to break down lactic acid, a fatigue-causing substance, and convert it into energy, which helps prevent fatigue accumulation and speeds up fatigue recovery. Drying them increases their nutritional value by 3 to 10 times.
It's the perfect snack to have on the go while hiking.
We use apples (30% reduced pesticides) from Matsukawa-cho, Nagano Prefecture. Made from freshly picked apples harvested from autumn to winter. No sugar or preservatives.
Rare apple. Pink Lady.
Immediately after harvest, the fruit has a strong sour taste, but the sourness fades over time.
Once the acidity was gone, we dried it.
It has a rich flavor with a good balance of sourness and sweetness.
