The ideal hybrid-wool piece, guarding against sun and chill
Sun protection in summer, dependable warmth in winter. A high-performance hoody that wraps you comfortably from head to fingertips.
A hoody in Teton Bros.' own tuned hybrid-wool fabric, "Axio Lite."
A hoody isn't just cold-weather wear—it's also highly effective as active wear that shields your head and neck from harsh summer sun and prevents the energy drain of UV exposure. It has wool's moisture regulation, warmth, and natural odor control, paired with polyester's excellent sweat-wicking, quick-drying, and durability. Through long hours of hiking or trail running, where body temperature swings widely, it keeps the environment inside your clothing comfortable.
Functional details that connect straight to your activity

Handy hand-warmer pockets
Low-profile hand-warmer pockets sit on both sides, keeping bulk to a minimum. They let you warm your hands during a rest on the ridgeline, and come in handy when you're moving in just this one layer without an outer shell.

Thumbholes for warmth and easier layering
Thumbholes sit at the cuffs. Slipping your thumbs through adds warmth over the backs of your hands, and keeps the sleeves from riding up when you layer a wind shell or fleece on top, for smooth on and off.

Flatlock seams that minimize stress on the skin
As a base layer worn right against the skin, the stitching gets thorough attention. It uses flatlock seams—a low-bulk construction also found in underwear—so the seams lie flat, curbing the discomfort and skin damage from rubbing even during long wear while sweating.
An in-house hybrid material

The secret of Teton Bros.' original "Axio Lite"
The base yarn, "Axio," is a special thread born in Bishu, a world-renowned wool-producing region. By wrapping wool fibers around a shaped-cross-section polyester core, the surface keeps the full hand of wool along with moisture regulation, warmth, and odor control, while the polyester core wicks sweat up quickly and spreads it out.
The "Axio Lite" used here is a fabric that alternately knits this original Axio yarn and polyester yarn in stripes. This gives it even higher moisture dispersion and stretch than a single material. The texture of the stripes also refracts light, so despite being lightweight it resists see-through, combining high breathability with anti-pilling performance.

Care
To keep wool performing at its best for a long time, please take care with washing.
- Hand wash recommended: Use a neutral detergent in water below 30°C, and hand wash by gently pressing the whole garment—do not knead or scrub hard. Water above 30°C can cause shrinkage and damage.
- Keep it short: Aim to finish washing and rinsing within 3–5 minutes total. Soaking for long periods causes the fibers to mat and felt.
- Do not: Never use fabric softener or bleach, tumble dry, or dry clean.
- Spin-dry and drying: After washing, wrap in a towel to gently remove water, reshape, and dry flat in the shade in a well-ventilated place. Do not leave it wet with water or sweat for long periods.
