The story began with a night that founder Cam Brensinger spent on Mount Washington. After a sleepless night struggling with inferior gear, he decided that the best gear was the best way to have the best adventures. So he founded NEMO just three days after graduating.

Based in an old spinning mill in New Hampshire, USA, he and his friends started making products with the belief of "attractive design." That spirit has not changed and is still alive in all of their products, such as tents, mats, and sleeping bags.
