More than 10 years after its debut, it's a confident product that has been perfected through repeated field testing and updates. The generous pattern from the hips to the thighs and the tapered shape down to the knees ensure stress-free leg movement whether climbing or descending. These pants are truly the "optimal solution" for high-intensity summer activities.
Functional Details Directly Supporting Activities
"Gather & Drawcord" for a Stress-Free Fit
The waist features gathers throughout to reduce stress from tightness during long activities. The internal drawcord allows for fine adjustment of the fit. This firmly prevents the pants from slipping, even during the vibrations of running or large climbing movements.
"Large-Capacity Hip Pockets" That Don't Hinder Movement
The back features pockets designed for specific uses. In the center, there's a large-capacity pocket convenient for storing items like wind shells, and on both sides, there are hip pockets with flaps. All of these are placed at carefully calculated positions to ensure they don't hinder hip movement when lifting legs during steep ascents.
"Gusseted Crotch" Supporting Dynamic Movements
A gusset is placed in the crotch to maximize the range of motion of the hip joint. The fabric won't pull tightly, smoothly following the body's movements even during high steps on rocky terrain or when stepping over fallen trees.
Uniquely Developed High-Performance Fabric
PERTEX EQUILIBRIUM
The material used is TETON BROS.' original "PERTEX EQUILIBRIUM" (Pertex Equilibrium). It's a double-weave fabric made from 82% nylon and 18% polyester N66 recycled nylon.
The tightly woven surface blocks wind and repels rain with C0 water repellent treatment, while the textured inner surface prevents sticking to the skin even when sweating, keeping you dry at all times. By adjusting the yarn selection and weave density to original specifications, we have significantly improved "lightness," "stretchiness," and "durability (high tear strength)" compared to general fabrics. It also has the cool-touch sensation unique to nylon, providing a cool and comfortable wearing experience even in harsh summer environments.
