Triathlete Hideya Miyazuka adapted ``Uiro'', which he used as a calorie supplement during races, to create a ``chew-and-eat'' type of calorie supplement that is unique to Japanese people.
Unlike conventional drinks and gel-type calorie supplements, this is a chewable type.
Rice is the basic ingredient in the Japanese diet, and a new form of rice, ``Rice Jelly,'' developed by Yanmar, a major agricultural equipment manufacturer, is included. You can ingest the calories you need for exercise with rice, which suits the Japanese body.
Each bag contains about 100 kcal of calories, centered on the long-lasting sugar "Palatinose" and a new form of rice called "Rice Jelly." Ideal for replenishing energy for long-term sports such as cycling, trail running, triathlons, and mountain climbing.
