Ultraviolet rays are classified into three types according to their wavelength: UV-C, UV-B, and UV-A. UV-C does not reach the earth's surface because it is absorbed by the ozone layer, but UV-B and UV-A reach the ground and are said to cause cataracts, eye fatigue, age spots, and freckles.

HEV (high energy visible light: wavelength 400-420 nm) is the most intense type of visible light. It is cited as one of the causes of cataracts and age-related macular degeneration, and is said to be the most harmful type of light that affects eye diseases.

It is a short-wavelength blue light contained in visible light, and is a very energetic light that reaches the back of the eye. It is especially abundant in the light of LED displays such as PCs. It is said that prolonged exposure to blue light can cause deviations in the body clock.

Near-infrared rays are a type of electromagnetic wave that reach the earth in amounts six times greater than ultraviolet rays. In recent years, it has been discovered that they reach the deeper layers of the skin (muscles), destroying muscle tissue and causing aging such as wrinkles and sagging.

In fact, the view through polarized lenses is surprisingly clear! They not only prevent glare from the water surface, but also prevent light reflections from the windshield while driving, glare from objects reflected in the windshield, and glare from the road surface. They also make the grain of the golf turf more clearly visible.

The red-light phenomenon is a phenomenon where the waves on the surface of water flicker red, which can cause eye fatigue and stress. Regular polycarbonate polarized lenses cannot prevent this phenomenon, but SOLAIZ polarized lenses block near-infrared rays, so they can prevent this red-light phenomenon.
