Introduction

The design of the main body part is a basic 6 piece joint. In contrast to the design of a cycle cap, which has a shallow body and a short sill, we aimed for a generously deep body, and the sill part is just the right length to not be too affected by the wind and to provide a sunshade effect.

Before making the product, I tried wearing several outdoor manufacturer's caps, but none of them seemed shallow enough for me to cover the tops of my ears. In windy situations, it was very stressful to have to worry about the cap blowing off or feeling like I was wearing it while it was cold. This is because my own head size (head circumference) is large, and I am not denying the product.

This ``Basic Cap'' was created with the aim of being a cap that I, who have a slightly larger head circumference, can wear with peace of mind and without stress. Therefore, the head size (head circumference) is a little looser than a typical cap.

Material

We use flannel made from Meri wool from Australia.
"Flannel" is a type of soft, brushed fabric. Of course, it is washable, stretchy, and has the high heat retention, breathability, moisture control, and odor resistance (antibacterial) characteristic of merino wool.

COOLMAX® fabric is used in the sweatproof area.
Made of pique-shaped 100% polyester material that absorbs water quickly and has UV protection (UPF 40+).

If a man (left model) with a normal head size (head circumference) wears it, it will feel a little tight in the back.
When worn by a woman (model on the right) with a slightly smaller head size (head circumference), the back will bulge out.
Another feature is that the facial expression after wearing the mask changes depending on the size of the wearer's head.
