The Trail Running Pole 13.6, which has gained a lot of support as a trail running pole, is back with a new design!
While maintaining its light weight, rigidity, and portability, we have improved maintainability. As your partner during the race, we also have a perfect system for repairs in case of an emergency. Please use it with peace of mind.
SINANO's insistence on using aluminum alloys for trail running is the result of years of research and development into many different materials.
Instead of "carbon, which becomes unusable if it breaks," "aluminum, which can remain supported to the end even if it bends," increases the success rate in grueling long-distance races.
The 13.6NEO Trail Running Poles are made with a specially designed shaft made from extra-super duralumin. This aluminum alloy, which is also used in aircraft, combines the rigidity required for rigorous races with the lightweight required at a high level.
The aluminum shaft's design, which relieves load by "flexing" when subjected to tension or impact, is why it is chosen by top runners.
It is chosen by many runners because it is specially designed to suit the trail running environment.
There are five sizes to suit different heights. When in doubt, it's best to choose the shorter size. Prioritize strength and light weight.
Shafts break when overloaded or scratched. The difference between carbon and aluminum is also apparent in the way they break. Carbon breaks and then snaps , while aluminum bends first before breaking .
Trouble is inevitable in long-distance races. A major advantage of aluminum trail running poles is that you can use them all the way to the finish line even if they are slightly bent.
To assemble, simply pull the cord stored inside the grip.
It only takes a short time from taking it out to using it, and it's so easy to operate that you can even use it while driving.
Comes standard with a rubber tube that is convenient for holding the pole in your hand when running.
It is non-slip even when wet with rain or sweat, and protects your hands from the cold in low temperature environments.
The grip has been hollowed out to fit 1g, making it easy to see which direction is forward and which is less likely to be gripped incorrectly.
It uses a soft skin type that is comfortable to wear. It has Velcro so it can be fixed to the shaft, improving running performance when running with a slip stopper.
A lightweight, ultra-compact pole is used. It prevents the pole from digging too deeply into the ground, making it suitable for a variety of trail environments. In addition, the tip of the pole has been made lighter, making it easier to swing and handle, and providing maneuverability that allows you to respond to split-second decisions.
The storage length of about 30cm is equivalent to the size of an A4 sheet of paper, making it easy to store in a backpack. Even when you are not using the poles, it keeps the burden on your run to a minimum.
All parts can be replaced and repaired*.
We can replace just one section of the shaft, so you can repair just the bent part. We can also repair just the grip, strap, basket, inner rope, and other parts, so you can use your ski for a long time as your racing partner.
We repair our products at our own factory in Nagano Prefecture, so please feel free to contact us if anything should happen.
*Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on the availability of parts and product usage.
