STATIC proposes natural materials for layers that come in contact with the skin, avoiding the use of petroleum-derived fibers as much as possible. Merino wool keeps you warm in the winter and wicks away heat in the summer. For outdoor use, it can be said to be a highly functional fiber that not only retains heat, but also has moisture control, odor resistance, and a good texture.

I was looking for a fabric that uses merino wool and is comfortable to wear even in spring and summer when you sweat a lot. The answer we arrived at was ALL ELEVATION, a blend of merino wool and recycled polyester yarn.

ALL ELEVATION rebuilt in Bishu

We teamed up with wool experts in Bishu to create a fabric that is soft to the touch and easy to wear, while retaining the characteristics of ALL ELEVATION fabric.
The textured border mesh structure provides high breathability, and the recycled polyester yarn allows for quick drying. Adding a wind shell will further increase heat retention, making it an item that can be used as an inner layer or on its own.
In addition to shrink-proofing, we also use non-chlorine resin.

Environmentally friendly pre-shrunk processing

Non-chlorine resin shrink-proofing does not remove scales, but instead modifies hydrophobic scales to make them hydrophilic and attaches hybrid collagen to prevent scales from getting entangled with each other and shrinking. Also, no resin is used.

Compared to chlorine resin processing, it is biodegradable and feels safer, and the fabric that comes into contact with the skin is only wool fibers, not resin. In addition, by retaining the scales that control wool's adjustability, we were able to create wool products that utilize the original functions of wool fibers. It can be said that it is an eco-friendly pre-shrunk product that utilizes the wool fiber as much as possible.
I will never forget the words of the developer of the shrink-proof factory who told me, ``Because we don't use chlorine, it's safe for the health of our employees.''
