Ultra-lightweight 3-season tent weighing less than 1kg with double entrance and vestibule

This ultra-lightweight 2-person 3-season tent was created using the know-how of Samaya's iconic single-wheel tent. It has a comfortable double entrance that is perfect for fastpacking for two people or for traverses. The vestibule can be used according to each person's preference, and there is no need to worry about entering or exiting.
For a two-person hike, each person weighs about 500g, which is a big advantage. The weight savings can be allocated to food, or you can choose slightly more room for warm clothing, expanding your options beyond tents and leading to a more enjoyable hike. Of course, it is also an excellent choice as a tent for hiking trips where you are conscious of distance and speed and want to reduce weight as much as possible.

The bent poles are processed to increase their strength. The purpose of using them is to secure space. They provide living space, and there is more room around the head, not around the feet, so the head does not touch the tent when reading a book or working, and the sleeping bag is less likely to get wet. They also make it possible to increase the width of the ceiling without using a ridge pole.

The walls of the main body are made of Nanovent, which has the same breathability as the Samaya 2.0 and 2.5. The sides are made of mesh, so you can stay comfortable without getting hot. The material of the front chamber is Dyneema Composite Fabric.

Care and Precautions

- Remove any dirt or stains with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before storing.
- If the water repellency of the main unit decreases, remove any dirt and then use a commercially available water repellent spray.
- The Dyneema floor is strong against pulling and abrasion, but weak against sharp branches and stones. If the ground is poor when pitching the tent, please use the footprint (sold separately).

WALL

The fabric is made of a two-layer laminate of Dyneema® composite fabric and ePTFE membrane. This unique SAMAYA® know-how makes it possible to achieve waterproofness, breathability, and ultra-lightweight performance.
By laminating ePTFE material, it achieves a moisture permeability of 40,000g/m²/24h and a water pressure resistance of 20,000mm. In addition, Dyneema® itself has a very low water absorption and water retention rate.

DYNEEMA® FLOOR

The structure is made by bonding Mylar® with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), which has a much higher molecular weight than regular polyethylene. UHMWPE is extremely lightweight, yet has outstanding impact resistance and excellent abrasion resistance. By bonding Mylar®, it becomes a combination that has both high abrasion resistance and waterproofness.
